To be on the top 300 of all agents in the United States is no easy feat, at least not in a fiercely competitive arena like real estate. But this isn’t the only title that Alexa Elliot has under her belt.

 

The real estate powerhouse has been dominating the Colorado real estate scene for many years and she is just getting started.

 

From law enforcement to real estate

 

Alexa Elliot didn’t see herself in real estate. She worked with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department in her mid-twenties where she was able to save enough money to buy her first home.

 

But more than being a first time homeowner, it was the excitement of the home buying process and her passion towards helping other people that made her decide to make the switch to real estate.

 

“Helping people has always been important to me, and I wanted to share the experience with others, so I moved to Denver, Colorado, and got my license,” she explained. That life-changing decision happened over 25 years ago and since then, Alexa has carved a name that only a few real estate agents have ever achieved.

 

Building an empire

 

After getting her license, Alexa worked hard to establish herself as a credible real estate agent in Colorado. She trained in real estate franchise system on both national and state levels, and she built a strong portfolio consisting mostly of repeat and referral clients.

 

For Alexa, the process of buying a house is just as important as the house itself. She combined her passion for helping others with her knowledge in real estate to help clients find a property that they can really call home.

 

She is not your typical agent because she’s not just after sales. Alexa believes in being a “realtor for life” where she loves helping family, friends and existing clients find their perfect home or upgrade to a new property that will fit their growing needs.

 

Since she started her career in real estate, Alexa has helped more than 1,500 families buy the perfect home with more than $500 million in sales.

 

When asked how she was able to achieve such an amazing feat, Alexa believes that it’s her commitment to help clients that allowed her to build a successful empire in an otherwise competitive industry.

 

“I love to do most of the work myself as it helps me build relationships, get to know my clients plus I am very detail oriented. This allows me to control the transaction to the benefit of my client, but I will bring in a transaction coordinator to help me with paperwork,” she explained.

 

Alexa also uses the touch system to make sure that her clients are well taken care of even after their purchase. “I try to touch base at least twice a month, whether it be with mailers, special occasion cards, and of course, phone calls, emails and texts,” she said.

 

Alexa is also a specialist in real estate investing. This has allowed her to offer a full suite of real estate services to both sellers and buyers. She has helped clients buy properties as a residual monthly cash flow or retirement asset.

 

Alexa also offers assistance in property management for clients who don’t have the time or experience to do it on their own.

 

Since she has been in Colorado for more than 20 years now, Alexa considers herself a native of the state. She knows the local real estate market so well making it easier for her to find the right properties for her clients.

She explains, “I set aside 10% of my commission to help single moms or first-time home buyers complete their dream of owning a home. Many buyers have great jobs and good credit, but they just need help with a down payment or closing costs. That’s where I’ll pitch in.”

 

Alexa also sets aside 5% from her commission to help Homeless dogs that need Sweaters for winter through a company called Pet Madness.

 

Plans for the future

 

It’s easy to say that Alexa Elliot is at the top of her game. She is recognized as one of Colorado’s best agents. She runs her own Teams called Colorado Home Front and Florida Home Front as she is expanding. She has a strong portfolio of clients to prove her body of work. But she has no plans of stopping any time soon.

 

In fact, she knows exactly what she wants to achieve: “I’ll keep working until I can no longer walk. My goal is to continue to stay in the top 10 of all agents in Colorado.
